The sixth annual ATLANTEC Festival takes place in Galway from the 1st to the 22nd of May 2020. Since its inception the ATLANTEC Festival has celebrated the diverse Tech Culture present in Galway and the West of Ireland. It is fitting therefore that in 2020 we continue to showcase the best the west has to offer inspiring future generations to take up the technological mantle as well as continuing to promote innovation and inclusivity in the current sectors.

Once again the Festival will feature all the old favourites: Tech Tag World Championships; the Digital Women’s Forum; Design Thinking for Secondary School Students and Primary STEAM Inspiration. With a series of new events soon to be announced which will showcase the other ever present aspects of our Tech Culture including Gaming, Music and Art.

Of course the Festival would not be complete without its cornerstone event the ATLANTEC Conference once again being held in NUI Galway. The theme for 2020 “The Art of AI & Digital Innovation” will see in-depth exploration of the current and future technologies that will continue to have a massive impact on the world around us including: AI, Machine Learning, Big Data, Blockchain, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing. The 2020 Conference will present a real opportunity to explore and discover the practical and successful implementation of Digital Innovation in driving forward your business in 2020 and beyond.

We look forward to welcoming you to an ATLANTEC 2020 event.
