Overview: This is an introduction to building reproducible software for the regulated environments. This will be an introduction to the techniques of version control using git as our example. We will move on co-operative working patterns with git and the ability to track who did what. Using what we have learnt we will move on to linking between repositories to demonstrate the matching of Behavioural Driven Development (BDD) with Given/When/Then clauses to deliver simple environments. Throughout this we will show how we can report on what code has been developed and how this supports reporting for compliance environments like SIL2 and DOD-178 as well as SOX and BCBS-239.
